Microservices Golang Backend Senior Software Engineer Job Description We are currently seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for developing micro-services for the company's technology platform. This position requires an experienced professional with a proven track record of developing backend applications in a micro-services / Services Oriented Architecture. He/She will have the opportunity to design, build, test, maintain, and have a direct and meaningful impact on the roadmap of the company's Technology platform.

• Design and develop RESTful applications in microservices and/or Service-Oriented architecture
• Build features, tools, and services using Golang
• Understanding of containers with services like Docker
• Develop and deploy microservices with Kubernetes
• Experience working on SQL and NoSQL Databases ( Oracle, Postgres, Cassandra )
• Proven Experience in building RESTful APIs and a deep understanding of REST principles
• Proficient with Git, CI/CD and writing unit/integration tests
• Experience with modern libraries and tooling
• Strong analytical problem solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with strong initiative, quality deliverable and ability to work under pressure
• Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment
• Experience in Agile development environment
• Experience working with distributed global teams

• Proven Experience with Continuous integration, Continuous delivery and Continuous deployment
• Experience architecting and building high volume, fault-tolerant, highly available, and globally distributed systems in a cloud-native environment
• Energetic, flexible, collaborative, team player and good interpersonal skills

• 5+ years of developing in microservices and/or Service-Oriented architecture
• 5+ years of experience, with a Bachelors Degree (in CS) or equivalent
• Passionate about solving hard problems using data-driven solutions
• You like to be an owner and strive to do work you're proud of, both technically and in your team interactions
• Excitement toward building distributed, client/server systems
• Enjoy crafting elegant and scalable solutions
