Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in the Real Estate & Property industry based in Mission Viejo, California. The Bookkeeper will be integral to our team, handling a range of responsibilities from processing invoices to managing vendor relationships. This role is crucial in maintaining precise financial records and aiding in efficient company operations.Responsibilities: Accurately processing between 150-300 invoices on a weekly basis. Handling Accounts Receivable and Billing tasks, making up roughly 75% of the role. Managing Accounts Payable tasks, including dealing with purchase orders, which comprises approximately 25% of the role. Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data entry and maintaining spreadsheets. Operating proprietary LCM accounting software (training will be provided). Generating Purchase Order numbers and using DocuSign to ensure contracts are signed off by vendors. Establishing and managing relationships with vendors, including setting up new vendor profiles. Actively collaborating with the risk management and lien release group throughout the billing process. Ensuring accurate customer credit records are maintained. Requirements Possession of a minimum of 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping role within the Real Estate & Property industry. Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Demonstrable experience in performing bookkeeping tasks. Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including its advanced features. Experience in processing Purchase Orders and managing vendor relationships. Ability to perform efficient Invoice Processing and Billing tasks. Proven capability in preparing and maintaining budgets. Experience in managing Vendor Contacts, including communication and negotiation. Must be legally authorized to work in the specified location. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred. Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation is desirable. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using accounting software packages. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential.
