Bonfare Market #43 - We are seeking cashiers who will serve as a customer service role for the customers that want to purchase gas or items from the convenience store. We are a neighborhood market and need someone who is reliable, timely and customer service oriented. They complete many duties to maintain the station, including attending to and assisting customers, accepting payments, stocking the shelves and maintaining station organization, and maintaining the cash drawer balance. We have listed the some of the roles below as well in more detail of the roles and responsibilities they would have:
Responsibilities-
1. Responsible for daily operation of the gas station and convenience store
2. Potentially should also be available to take evening and weekend shifts occasionally
3. Cashier responsibilities, not limited to the below-listed tasks/ responsibilities
4. Greet customers as they arrive at the gas station or the associated shop
5. Scan and collect payment using cash registers, using either cash or credit or debit
6. Help customers purchase goods, gas
7. Assist any customer issues or questions
8. Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
9. Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
10. Check gas dispensers daily and make sure everything is operational
11. Check for any issues or leaks
12. Check and stock store inventory
13. Clean and sanitize shop areas and ensure that no hazardous materials are present in or around the gas station
14. Fill out daily reports
15. Clean parking areas, restrooms, and remove garbage
16. Assist customers in pumping gas or pump gas for them if required
Qualifications-
1. Needs to be motivated and customer service oriented
2. Basic PC knowledge
3. Lifting roughly 50 lbs
4. Must be 21 years or older
