DescriptionRobert Half Technology has an open Network Administrator position available at a reputable Service company. If you are success-driven, an organized problem solver, and passionate about ensuring and maintaining a stable network infrastructure, this job may be for you. You will develop, administer, and maintain the network infrastructure to support the business by ensuring security, integrity and high-availability of enterprise systems and related components. You will work with software, hardware, network security programs, and data storage systems that change frequently. A key part of this role will be participating in ongoing education to remain up to date and fully informed. This long-term temporary-to-full-time opportunity is for a Network Administrator who will work in the Modesto, California, area.Your responsibilities in this role
Coordinating and executing upgrades to network software and hardware
Administering the operation of all local area networks / wide area network related services according to company policies and procedures
Applying LAN/WAN security, antivirus and spam control measures
Analyzing and fixing local area networks / wide area network performance, connectivity and related network issues

3+ years relevant experience
Proficiency in cabling
Solid understanding of Basic Network Troubleshooting
Experience with client server
Command of Active Directory
Microsoft Office experience
Understanding of production environments and being on-call
Exceptional skills in troubleshooting, analytics and diagnostics
Knowledgeable of network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN operations
