Project Engineer - Food Manufacturing
Location: Modesto, CA
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 Month project
Summary of Position:

The Project Engineer will oversee capital projects to expand the beverage making capability from planning to implementation



Responsibilities:

Project management from technology selection, conceptual design, detailed design, procurement, construction and startup

• Create and manage a detailed project plan using MS Project software


• Create a budget for installation and manage expenses / cost to conform to budget


• Manage equipment installation. Have knowledge and experience with new and used equipment


• Manage contract suppliers and labor to meet commitments and schedule


• Lead a multifunctional internal team of key stakeholders to ensure installation meets all requirements and criteria established for the project.

Required Skills:

• 7 - 10 years of proven Project Management experience


• Experience with projects ranging from $2 million +


• Process Engineering background


• Purchasing and procurement experience


• Conceptual design to project completion


• Beverage or liquid processing experience is preferred


• CIP (Clean in Place) experience, food grade


• Proficient with MS Project and MS Office

Education:

Mechanical, Chemical, Engineer or equivalent experience

Industry requirements: Food/ Beverage, Pharmaceutical Experience

Travel Requirements:

Some travel to a site in Lodi is required
