A Place Called home II is a State Licensed 11 bed care facility, that strives to provide the highest quality care for our residents. We are looking for experienced caregivers that are knowledgeable, skills, compassion and ability to provide the highest level of care to meet the needs of our residents.
Job responsibilities include:¨
Grooming: Hair care, shaving, oral care, nail care, peri care and skin care.¨ Bathing Assistance: shower assistance, shower chair, bed bath.¨ Dressing Assistance: assisting with dressing and undressing a resident¨ Toileting Assistance: bathroom, bedside commode, urinal, or adult disposable briefs.¨ Ambulation Assistance: use of walker, wheelchair, cane, gait belt, or crutches¨ Transferring: from bed, wheelchair, low chair, use of hoyer lift, rotating resident in bed.¨ Complete housekeeping, laundry service and personal assistance.¨ Cleaning for resident safety: bedroom, bathroom, dining room, living room.¨ Meals: following special diets, setting tables, serving, and feeding, making sure resident are drinking plenty of fluids throughout your shift.¨ Emotional Support: companionship, teaching, having conversations.¨ Communication: coordination of resident care with other members of our care team. Reporting changes in resident conditions to all staff, charting records for resident care.¨ Charting: Bowel, meal intake, toileting, skin assessment.Â
Requirements:¨
Every applicant must pass a background check FBI/DOJ. Clearances.¨Every applicant must possess a valid CA drivers license. ¨Every applicant must have a valid FIRST AID and CPR card.¨Every applicant must be able to speak, read and understand English.¨ Be reliable and dependable.
