A bit about us: My parents and I are loving people who are looking for a long-term Caregiver or CNA for my parents. My Mother suffered a massive stoke in May of 2024, she sustains left side paralysis and is total blindness. She needs everyday assistance with the following, bed transfer to wheelchair, changing her briefs, daily sponge bath, brushing teeth and spoon feeding. My father was diagnosed with early onsite Alzheimer in 2024. He needs everyday help with getting out of bed, brushing teeth and changing his clothes.
Job Duties: A normal day with my parents will be get them up and ready for the day, make a simple breakfast most times my mother will like to put back into bed after her breakfast so she can listen to her game shows. My father will either be put back into bed or watch tv in the living room for a while. Before leaving they, both need to be in bed. My parents are easy going will not complain about anything, love to talk and laugh.
Qualifications: Experience in caring for stroke and Alzheimer patients, able to prioritize safety with elderly people, experience in proper lifting techniques from a hospital bed to a lightweight wheelchair. Comfortable with cats.
Schedule: Thursday- Sunday (9am to 1:00pm) with the possibility of Wednesday workday due to my work schedule.
Pay: $25.00 per hour
