I am looking for a part-time caregiver for my 62 year old female client. I would need someone to cover Thursdays and Sundays for at least 2 hours and possibly fill in when I need to take time off. This position pays $20/hr cash under the table.
I am looking for someone who will show up when they say they will, take initiative when they see something that needs to be done, and doesn't mind a little hard work. Someone that can cook (we don't expect a chef, just someone that can cook basic items or follow directions on how to make them) is a huge plus. Meal prep is the area I need the most help in.
Experience a plus but not needed, I can train you. However the following are required:
You must be able to assist in transfers for her and she is 6'2 and about 275lbs. She can walk but needs help getting into a standing position. She does have a power recliner that raises her up when in her room.
Transport a wheelchair in your car (I have a ford fusion and it fits in my car just fine.)
Sheila has a roommate who has a corgi. He is very friendly with people, so you must be okay with dogs.
