Help Wanted Immediately. Local horse ranch needs strong, honest, hard working general labor worker to cleanup and maintain small country PRIVATE property in Oakdale CA 95361. Work is not particularly difficult, but it is sometimes very physical, labor intensive, and you will get dirty,… so no lazy, weak or dishonest people should inquire, and no unnecessary B.S. will be tolerated. Workers must be able to stand and work on your feet for several hours straight, easily lifting 30-60 pounds regularly, occasionally moving 100 pound hay bales. Workers must be able to follow simple instructions, multi-task activities, finish assignments promptly, and complete projects without constant direct supervision.
Depending on work history, we typically pay $16-$17 per hour, and you start out on a trial basis for a few weeks. Workers get paid weekly, on Friday, and 1099’s will ultimately be issued. Actual hours & days worked are FLEXIBLE, based on your personal schedule availability, our current farm project needs, your past work experience, and your personal productivity. Experience in farm ranch labor maintenance is a BIG PLUS, however, no prior experience is necessary, we will train the right person. This is currently a part-time temporary work position, usually 4-6 hours a day (up to 8 hours sometimes), this is NOT a regular 9 to 5 job. Once you prove you can handle the work, show up as planned and complete jobs successfully, we will then discuss future where you setup your own work schedule.
All workers should be healthy, strong and physically able to handle walking, bending, stacking and lifting. Workers should be familiar with using basic hand and power tools like shovels, rakes, chainsaws, post hole digger, hammers, drills, saws, tape measure, pressure washer, etc. Any past experience with mechanical, electrical, yard clean-up, tree cutting, building fences & shelving, working with horses or dogs, are all a big plus. The work can sometimes by quite physical, you absolutely will get dirty, and you must wear suitable work shoes and clothing everyday. This is a very straight forward, no-nonsense position, so no B.S. will be tolerated. Work hours & work days can be flexible, but you must show up on time, and ready to work when you say you are going to be there.
