We are seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team at a residential apartment complex in Oakdale, CA. This is an immediate opening for someone who is dependable, self-motivated, and experienced in property maintenance.
Responsibilities include:
Performing routine and preventative maintenance on apartment units and common areas
Responding promptly to maintenance service requests (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, etc.)
Conducting unit turnarounds, including basic repairs, painting, and cleaning
Maintaining the grounds (trash pickup, minor landscaping, etc.)
Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently
Coordinating with management regarding supply needs and larger repair projects
On-call availability for occasional emergency repairs (if needed)
Ideal Candidate:
Has general knowledge of apartment maintenance and repair practices
Possesses basic tools (preferred)
Can work independently and manage time effectively
Has strong problem-solving skills
Communicates well with tenants and management
Previous maintenance experience at apartment complexes or similar settings is a plus
