Job Opening: Water Truck & Heavy Equipment Operator
Location: Ceres, CA
Pay: $18-$22 starting
Start Date: 1-2 weeks
About Us:
K&D Enterprises is a long-standing family owned and operated company based in Ceres, CA. We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled individual to operate a water truck, operate heavy equipment, and do some manual labor. On-the-job training will be available to the right individuals.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will safely and efficiently operate a water truck and various types of heavy equipment, such as loaders, excavators, and forklifts. In addition, the role will require physical labor such as lifting bags, steel, and cleaning equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate water trucks to control dust.
Operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner.
Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
Load and unload materials as needed.
Assist with general site labor, including clean-up, hand digging, moving materials, and other duties as assigned.
Follow all safety procedures and company protocols.
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Class A or B license preferred, Class C acceptable).
Proven experience operating water trucks and heavy equipment preferred.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in various conditions.
Familiarity with construction site safety standards.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Preferred but Not Required:
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
