Job Overview
The primary responsibility of the Forklift Driver, Shipping & Receiving Assistant is to operate the forklift to assist with production and warehouse duties and execute timely, customer conforming, defect free shipments for both internal and external customers.
Summary of key responsibilities:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to:
Operating a forklift to load and unload goods from vehicles.
Moving goods packed on pallets or in bins around the production facility with a forklift or pallet jack.
Assist with preparing and shipping orders including but not limited to: creating pallets, gathering documentation, verifying lot numbers & Julian dates, ensuring quality conformance.
Responsible for compliance with receiving, shipping, and release SOPs and documentation.
Assist with monthly inventory counts.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of Warehouse.
Assist with mapping inventory at all warehouses in NutWare.
Assist with sending product to and from Hughson Cold Storage.
Complete projects as directed by Warehouse Manager.

Minimum Qualifications
3 years shipping experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven shipping and customer service skills.
Proficient computer skills.
Conforming writing, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience operating a forklift.
Physical requirements
Constant standing/walking.
Occasional stooping/kneeling.
Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting/carrying 40 lbs.
Performance measurements
Order fulfillment accuracy.
Order shipment timeliness.
