SUMMARY: Under supervision, performs tasks and operations within the Maintenance department; and performs related duties as assigned.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (which are not in any hierarchical order)
o Training and understanding of c-GMP and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) that apply to personnel in the Maintenance department.
o Perform maintenance on facility and machinery as requested by Maintenance Supervisor.
o Perform routine and scheduled maintenance.
o Assure that any maintenance is performed in a timely and efficient manner.
o Work closely with Maintenance Supervisor to assure maintenance is completed.
o Fill out relevant documentation.
o Comply with all safety procedures and programs while in the plant and operating machinery.
o Any other tasks or work as deemed fit by management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
o Basic math skills.
o Strong organizational and communication skills.
o Working knowledge of facility maintenance.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
There is occasional need to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday. Formulation Technology promotes a drug/alcohol free work environment through the use of mandatory pre-employment drug testing.
