Brief Description
o Order Desk: Receiving customer inquiries, assisting outside salesmen and customers as needed. This includes, but is not limited to: quoting, checking on order status, assisting to complete an order so that it can be billed.
o Purchaser: Issuing quote requests, following up with vendors.
Key Responsibilities
o Order taking via phone, email and walk-in
o Quoting customers
o Creating work orders
o Contact suppliers for order status
o Assist outside salesmen and customers
Minimum Qualifications
o Education: High School Diploma/GED
o Basic computer knowledge
Additional Qualifications Desired But Not Required
o Bi-lingual (Spanish)
o Industrial Sales Experience
o Ability to read/understand Part Blueprints/Specification Sheets
o Experience with pumps helpful
o Knowledge of industry
Physical Demands
o Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
We will fully train for this position if needed, but highly prefer someone with industry experience. Trainer is expected to be going on Maternity Leave in September and be out until the first of the year. We will need someone who can step up and assist in covering her duties while she is out.
