This is a Temp to Hire position.
WORK SCHEDULE: Tuesday – Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM, every Saturday 9:00AM – 1:00PM
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Proactively reaches out to current and prospective customers including Designers, Developers, General Contractors, Fabricators, and Builders to identify sales opportunities.
Present and demonstrate products to prospective customers, highlighting their unique features and benefits.
Utilize persuasive selling techniques to convert leads into sales and achieve assigned sales targets.
Follow up with leads and customers to nurture relationships, address any concerns, and maximize sales opportunities.
Maximize use of Stone Profit System fully by end of 90 days (about 3 months).
PROSPECTING AND LEAD GENERATION:
Identify and research potential clients within the North Hollywood sales territory.
Conduct cold calls, door-to-door visits, and networking events to generate leads.
Utilize various resources and tools to identify and qualify prospects.
Establish a relationship with the top 25 commercial, multi residential, and fabrication firms by establishing their needs and preferences.
Provide exceptional customer service, promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Regularly follow up with customers to assess their level of satisfaction, identify upselling opportunities, and secure repeat business.
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE:
Develop a deep understanding of our products, including their features, specifications, and applications.
Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to effectively position our products and highlight their competitive advantages.
Attending industry networking events to stay in-the-know about up-and-coming products, advancements in our field, and training techniques.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, sales activities, and other relevant information using Stone Profit System software and other designated tools.
Prepare and deliver customer walk-ins, holds, invoices, and delivery slips for customers and management.
Assists daily with walk-in customers touring the facility to find the surface that fits their needs.
Able to perform other duties assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS SKILLSs:
Proven experience in inside sales or a related customer-facing role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
Strong negotiation skills and persuasive selling abilities.
Goal-oriented mindset with a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in using CRM software, sales tracking tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Clean driving record.
OTHER DUTIES/FORKLIFT TASK:
Responsible for loading and unloading natural stone, quartz, and solid surfaces (training will be provided).
Assure for the quantity and quality of material for sales and transfers.
Move slabs for viewings via a forklift.
Arrange slabs properly by forklift in warehouse.
Maintain yard and forklift in working order.
Must be able to pass forklift certification
Able to follow Safety culture.
Other duties assigned by manager and assistant manager.
