City Water Filter is a very established water filtration company located in Ceres and San Jose whose customers are mostly in the Bay Area. We are hiring for a Water Filtration Field Tech for service and maintenance and to assist with installs. This is a good opportunity for someone who wants to get their plumbing license in the future as we are licensed with the state. If you have knowledge of the bay area cities and how to get around the bay area that is helpful.
Must have a good driver's license and a car to get to work. If you have drug issues, please do not apply. This includes legal drugs while on the job. I am only looking for the best at this time. We provide a work truck and tools once you are trained to be independent.
If you have no interest in good drinking water, and the need of people to have high quality drinking and bathing water, please do not apply. You will not last at this job based on years of hiring people just looking for a job but not interested in this industry of helping people have better water (i.e. lack of curiosity).
We will train entry-level people male or female. You must be good with tools. We cannot train you to use tools and your hands. If you have plumbing, welding, or electrical experience that is a huge plus.
Because we work in the bay area the days are longer, starting at 5:30 am most of the time. Days can be 13 to 15 hours per day. We are on-call so you don't necessarily work everyday and the schedule is somewhat flexible. You usually work at least 3 or 4 days per week minimum. Must be available on the weekends. Since you are working overtime and double-time expect to take home a minimum of $3000 to $4000 month to start. We supply tools and vehicle.
