IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for a Laboratory Courier - Rotating Shift position at its facility in Modesto, CA.
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
A high school diploma or GED (required); an associate degree in Biology or related field (preferred)
A detail-oriented approach and strong communication in handling all tasks
Ability to exercise sound judgment in day-to-day interactions
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word)
Ability to regularly lift up to 30lbs above waist level
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs above waist level
A valid CA driver's license and clean driving record (including, at minimum, no accidents in the last 5 years)
Laboratory Courier duties include: safely transporting samples from customers to the lab on a fixed schedule, cleaning and maintaining coolers for sample transport, data entry, inventory control, and other duties as assigned.
The pay for this position is $20 hourly. Full-time employees are eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability insurance, 401(k), health and dependent care FSA plans, employee assistance program, 15 days of paid time off per year for sick leave and/or vacation, and 6 paid holidays per year.
This position operates on a rotating shift basis and will include occasional overtime. Candidates must be willing to work weekends.
