SUMMARY:

Thisposition isprimarilyresponsible forexpeditingall ordersthrough

theWarehouse ManagementSystem(s).

Workscloselywith customerservice,clientrepresentativesand

driversoftruckingfirmsto achieve and maintain high service levels.

Coordinates drivers equipment,and freight. Ensures thatall shippingand

receivingdocumentsand functionsarecompleted accurately and on time.

Workswith warehouse personnel to ensureproperreceipt,stockingand

shipmentofproduct.

SHIFT:

Although this is noted for 2nd shift, the selected candidate must be

flexible and

will to work any hours that are assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- A High School diploma or equivalent(GED)is preferred.

- One to twoye ar srelated experience in atleast two are a sofware

house operations,or acombination of equivalen teducationand experience.

- WMS / AS400experience and knowledge is preferred.

- Must be able interact with others on a professional basis.

- Regular attendance is necessary to perform this job inasatis factory

manner.

- Ability to use a computer proficiently and a basic knowledge of

Microsoft Excel are necessary.

- Applicant must be capable of handling highly demanding scenarios.

- Flexible schedule is required for coverage.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Processcarrierloads to include printingoflabels,loading,etc.

- Assign and monitorWarehouse ManagementSystem(s)to ensureworkflow.

- Meetorexceed all service and efficiencystandards forshippingand

receiving

- Ensure accuracyofall shippingand receiving(B.O.L.)documents

- Handle all customersand customerrepresentatives atthe dispatch window

- Gatherand maintain all data and records relative to shippingand

receivingactivities

- Maintain legible and accuraterecords and logsas required

- Communicatesshipmentissuesto include inbound paperworkrequests,

- finished outbounds, trailerneeds,etc.

- Communicatesand performsorderchangesto include

capacitycuts,criticalcuts,etc.

- Prepareafterhoursdocumentation to include inbound/outbound

paperwork,shifthandoff, etc

- Identifyand addressoperationalprioritytasksto includecritical

loads,turntime,special requests,placarding,lockups,stuckpallets,etc

- Maintain the facilitydockdoorcontrolboardto be accurateatall times

- Conductoperationsin amannerthatpromotes safetyand reportunsafe

conditionsthatcant be self-corrected to the warehouse supervisor

- Maintain aclean,neat,and orderlyworkarea in accordance with

Penskesstandards of housekeeping.

- Conductyourselfin apolite and service oriented

mannertowardscustomerrepresentatives and fellowassociates

- Performadditionalduties asassigned bymanagement

Qualifications

-2 years of general office experience required

-1 year of customer service experience required

-High School diploma or equivalent required

-Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and

PowerPoint required

-AS400 experience preferred

- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the

job

- Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work

at the specific location required, complete Penske employment

application, submit to a background investigation (to include past

employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
