Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Monrovia, California. This role is integral to our team, with a focus on monitoring and managing customer accounts, generating and sending invoices, processing payments, and reconciling accounts. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be involved in resolving billing issues and maintaining documentation for compliance reporting and audits in our industry.Responsibilities: Accurately track and document details of customer accounts, highlighting any nonpayments, delayed payments, and irregularities. Prepare and dispatch invoices to customers in a timely and efficient manner. Collect, process, and allocate incoming payments from customers. Perform account reconciliations regularly and generate reports on accounts receivable. Identify and resolve discrepancies in customer payment records swiftly and effectively. Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation for compliance reporting and audits. Utilize accounting software and financial management systems to manage customer accounts and payments. Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations. Use your understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping to manage tasks. Utilize your proficiency with software such as SAP and Excel in daily tasks. Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience with billing procedures and cash applications Familiarity with cash collections and commercial collections Knowledge of SAP software Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and with a team Strong communication skills, both written and verbal High level of integrity and dependability Advanced numerical and analytical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field preferred.
