We are staffing civic-minded election support personnel for County of Monterey for the upcoming recall election.
We need:
(3) Ballot Collectors
Description: Collect ballots and drop them into the ballot box. Possibly direct traffic and provide instruction on how to complete the envelope on the vote by mail ballot. Be able to put up direction signs and put them away at the end of the night. Be able to stand or sit outside and focus on providing excellent customer service to voters who are dropping off their ballots. Should be conscientious, punctual and hard working.
(4) Election Clerks
Description: Registration staff will be required to scan and process voter registration cards, verify address confirmation cards and process voter updates. Will provide phone coverage, issue and collect ballots and generally provide support to help voters vote.
Ideal job for Poli-Sci students, teachers, senior (or other civic minded) citizens.
Group interview starts Monday 8/16/2021 at 2 PM.

Pay: $15.00/hour plus opportunity for overtime.
