JOB SUMMARY
The estimator is responsible for greeting customers, providing accurate automotive repair estimates in a DRP environment and asking for the sale. In addition, the appraiser must handle communications with insurance adjusters and customers throughout the repair process effectively and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction at Carstar Roberts Collision & Repair, Monterey’s premier body shop in beautiful Monterey.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Creating accurate written estimates for crashed vehicles per Insurance Company Guidelines.
Assisting the Body Shop Manger in the efficient and profitable operation of the Body Shop.
Promoting a positive attitude and be a part of the cohesive team.
Establishing and maintaining great working relationships with customers.
Handling customer concerns with high level of satisfaction.
Establishing and maintaining great working relationships with insurance companies.
Communicating well with our Production Manager.
Documenting all work on repair orders, with proper flag sheets and inspection notes.
Being responsible for the performance and accuracy of all estimates.
Follow up with customers to ensure repair satisfaction.
Auditing in-progress and completed files.
