Job Description:
We are seeking a nurturing, reliable, and energetic Child Care Assistant to join our, home-based family child care program. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children in a warm, home-like environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the daily care of children (ages [insert age range, e.g., 6 months to 5 years])
Help plan and engage children in age-appropriate activities
Prepare and serve meals and snacks
Supervise indoor and outdoor play
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
Assist with diapering, toileting, and other hygiene needs
Communicate positively with children and parents
Qualifications:
Experience working with young children (formal or informal)
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Background check required
Reliable, punctual, and compassionate
Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed
[Optional: Bilingual, ECE units, CDA certification, etc.]
Hours: full time/part time
Compensation: Based on experience
