Our Savior Preschool - South Salinas
Part Time Preschool Teacher needed for 3s & 4s, including playground, lunch, and nap monitoring. Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. Starting mid to late February.
Our licensed Christian preschool has been serving the Salinas community for over 25 years. We are looking for a teacher who enjoys being with and can manage well a group of children, ages 3-5, works well with other adults, and has a professional and positive attitude.
Our program is structured, academic, and includes lots of playtime. We also teach Bible stories, songs, and prayers and emphasize Jesus’ love and forgiveness.
Our school year goes from mid August to early June. We also have a summer session that is approximately 6 weeks long.
Requirements: We need a teacher who:
Is able to legally work in the United States
Has 12 Semester Units in Early Childhood Education that cover the general areas of Child/human growth and development; Child, family and community; and Programs/curriculum. (Or 6 and be actively working toward 12)
Has passed TB screening test within 12 months prior to starting work
Will complete Live Scan fingerprint clearance
Has current Certification in Pediatric First Aid and CPR
Can bring proof of standard immunizations; Pertussis, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), and Influenza (or a letter stating that you do not wish to receive the influenza vaccine)
Has Mandated Reporter Training Certificates - both General and Child Care Providers - dated within two years prior to starting - (free training online)
Has at least 6 months of relevant experience
