Part-Time Program Coordinator – Read to Me Project
Read to Me Project, a Salinas-based non-profit, is hiring a Program Coordinator to support literacy development in Monterey County schools. This part-time position (20-30 hrs/week, $28-$31/hr) involves delivering engaging classroom presentations to 4th-6th graders, coordinating with teachers, tracking student participation, and supporting parent education workshops. Work is a mix of in-school sessions and remote tasks, with paid travel time and mileage reimbursement.
Ideal candidates are organized, engaging presenters with strong communication skills and experience working with students or delivering educational content. A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), a valid CA driver’s license, and comfort with technology are required. Spanish fluency is a plus but not required.
