Ad Astra Bread Co. is an artisan bakery dedicated to producing high-quality breads and pastries using traditional methods and the best ingredients. We’re looking for motivated, reliable team members to join our growing bakery in Monterey.
Open Positions:
Bread Production Team
Assist in all aspects of bread production including mixing, shaping, and baking. Previous experience preferred, but we’re willing to train hardworking candidates with a strong interest in artisan baking.
Pastry Production & Early Morning Bake (Start time: 4 AM)
Work with our pastry team on both production and early morning bake shifts. Responsibilities include preparing laminated doughs, viennoiserie, and other pastries, as well as handling early morning baking and preparation. Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with early hours.
Farmers Market Attendant
Represent Ad Astra Bread Co. at local farmers markets. Responsibilities include setting up/breaking down booths, handling sales transactions using Square, and providing excellent customer service. Must be friendly, punctual, and able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
