Front of House ManagerTo ensure we maintain the high standards of Alta Bakery, candidates for the Front of House Manager position should possess the following specific qualifications:Experience Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume, quality-focused restaurant, café, or bakery setting. Experience in hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of FOH staff.Skills & Knowledge Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle challenging guest situations professionally and resolve issues effectively. Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso machine operation (Barista experience is highly desirable). Familiarity with POS systems and basic inventory management procedures. Ability to manage daily cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation with high accuracy. Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification or equivalent preferred).Leadership & Management Ability to motivate and lead a team in a fast-paced environment, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture. Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively under pressure.
