Carmel-By-The-Sea Restaurants with multiple locations looking for Head Chef. Head Chef must have prior experience as a head chef, sous chef, and line cook. Head Chef is expected to have experience working with sales representatives to place orders for restaurant locations. Head Chef must be able to adhere to owners policies regarding ordering. Head Chef must be willing to switch locations, mid-shift without notice. All locations are walking distance from each other. While Head Chef oversees multiple locations, they may have to work on the line at times. Head Chef must be willing to teach other employees new skills to keep cooking techniques current. Head Chef is required to be organized, able to work with a team, and has a passion for this industry.

Ideal candidate is someone who is flexible, can receive constructive criticism, able to see value in long term goals. Some spanish is preferred but not required.

Head Chef must have Managers Food Handling Certificate at time of hire.
