Entry Level Cook is a culinary position that requires basic culinary skills or related cooking experience and good communication skills. This is typically a production position that requires total supervision and training.
Intermediate Level Cook requires good communication and culinary skills. The desired candidate will have hotel cooking experience and professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures. Intermediate cook will work single stations in the kitchen and require supervision and training.
Experienced Level Cook requires good communication skills as well as at least three years of previous line and fine dining experience. A Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred. Candidates should be able to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills including preparation of soups, sauces, stocks, frying, broiling. This person may be required to give direction in the supervisor's absence.
