Il Vecchio Restaurant + Bar, a celebrated Italian dining destination in Pacific Grove, is looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team. We specialize in crafting authentic cuisine inspired by the culinary traditions of Rome, Umbria, and Tuscany, using the finest, freshest ingredients and supporting local agriculture.
We are currently hiring for the following positions:
PM Bartender
Schedule: Evening shifts
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of classic and signature cocktails, wines, and beverages.
Provide exceptional service to our guests at the bar and in the dining area.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
Qualifications:
Prior bartending experience in a fine dining or upscale bar environment.
Knowledge of Italian wines and cocktail preparation is a plus.
Strong communication and multitasking skills.
AM & PM Chefs
Schedule: Morning and evening shifts available.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items with precision and care, following authentic Italian recipes.
Assist in daily prep work and maintaining a clean kitchen workspace.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create exceptional dining experiences.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook in a restaurant setting.
Passion for Italian cuisine and working with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
PM Dishwasher
Schedule: Evening shifts
Responsibilities:
Ensure all dishes, cookware, and utensils are cleaned and sanitized promptly.
Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
Assist kitchen staff with basic prep work as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous dishwashing experience preferred but not required.
Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
