Hotel Carmel, sister property to the historic La Playa Carmel Hotel, is seeking an individual to provide exceptional customer service to our guests! Shifts are flexible and may included weekends, holidays, days or evenings.
Duties include greeting our guests, verifying and accurately posting guest information into the computerized system. Efficiently handling all guest payments received whether they are cash, credit card, checks, or traveler's checks.
Must respond to and follow-up on all guest requests to ensure they are satisfied with the hotel services and accommodations
Reports security/safety issues, maintenance concerns, etc. to the appropriate management staff.
Assists the Room Attendants with the daily operation including removal of trash and linens from guest suites
May perform evening wine tasting services for our guests.
At least one year of related customer service experience required. Ideal candidates will have previous Front Desk experience.
Ability to utilize a strong attention to detail
Must also be minimum of 21 years old
