Job Description:
As a Food Server at Woodward Marine Market, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and memorable dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is friendly, attentive, and dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests
- Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery of meals
- Provide recommendations on menu items and specials
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Anticipate and address guest needs throughout the dining experience
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards
- Upsell additional items and promotions to enhance the guest experience
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server in a restaurant setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of menu items and the ability to make recommendations
- Positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Food handler's certification (or willingness to obtain)
- RBS Alcoholic Beverage Service Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
