Supervisor for Small Restaurant

We are looking for an experienced, mature, enthusiastic and reliable Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at our small restaurant at the famous Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey.

The Restaurant Supervisor oversees the overall operations of the restaurant including but not limited to ensuring each guest gets a memorable experience dining with us along overseeing that all staff and maintaining relationships with food/drink vendors. The job requires physical endurance as well as mental determination with highly dependable, multitasked, and self-motivated attitude.

The working schedule is mostly PM shifts however might be asked to work swing shifts, when needed. Must be available to work weekends and major holidays.

Education/Qualifications

High School Diploma or higher.

Must have at least 2 years experience managing a restaurant.

Current Manager Food Handler’s Card, if not we will schedule you to obtain one within 30 days.

Current California Responsible Beverage Service, if not we will schedule you to obtain one within 30 days.

Knowledgeable regarding food, beverage, and customer service techniques.

Familiarity with all positions in the restaurant and be able and willing to fill those positions when needed.

Possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
