Need a caretaker for my mom Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. (Possibility of it being Thursday to Monday so five days.). Pay is $25 an hour and nothing more than that paid weekly and in cash and again, nothing more than that. Sunday's may be substituted for another day once a month if necessary. Work is cooking, cleaning, laundry, transferring mom, errands and so forth. (This is not one of those sit around caretaking jobs with not much to do, please be aware of that before applying, since there are different types of care taking positions and our requirements are more than just that.)
Timing is 8-4. We do need someone here as early as possible in the morning and it could be a great job for the right person. Things to note: Must be able to transfer someone of 150 pounds with limited mobility from chair, wheelchair, toilet and shower.
References a must, without references please do not apply, maturity, reliability, self directed and organized. We live in Carmel Valley so prefer someone close by, so that they are not fighting traffic every morning and are late. If you have kids we do have a spare rooms with a TV and children's channel on them and there are no issues if you need help working and taking care of your kids.
Also this is not a live in position.
I am an easy going and nice person who takes care of his mom and we are a very good family to work for but want to be clear of expectations, pay, hours and requirements. Please do not apply if any of this is daunting, finding someone only to have them quit is difficult on my mom.
Work would start ASAP but we can also wait a few days or can take someone on part time for now. Againsomeone trustworthy a must or please do not reply.
