Full-time IHSS WPCS Provider 66 hours a week available. I am in older women physically and cognitively handicapped. The ideal caregiver loves her job, desires, long-term stability, is punctual, dependable, reliable, compassionate, and patient, with a training background in dementia & memory care, medical administration, organization & management skills.
A plus if the caregiver has nursing experience, first aid training, License CNA and CPR certification.
Caregivers would provide or/& schedule transportation. Required accompaniment to appointments & run errands as needed.
Full-time, 66 hours plus. daytime hours, available Monday through Sunday, depending on shift coverage.
Caregivers are paid $17.89 hr. through Monterey County Dept. Of Social Services In-Home Support Services & the WPCS programs. Caregivers who meet the qualified requirements through the IHSS program are eligible to receive health insurance, vacation pay, sick pay, and overtime pay.

If so, desired, a person can begin work and be paid retroactively once they are given their provider number,
during their registration process, the caregiver can start work and be paid retroactively from the beginning of their start date once they have completed the registration program with Ihss and received their provider number.
