Part-time IHSS Caregiver Pacific Grove
We are looking for a part-time caregiver for an elderly lady in Pacific Grove who has minimal mobility (uses a wheelchair primarily) and needs help with getting out of bed and into a wheelchair, daily personal care, including medication disbursement, bathing, toileting (she is incontinent), daily exercises in the chair (a must) to help her gain assisted mobility with a walker, daily meal prep and serve (breakfast and lunch), light home cleaning and laundry as needed. This person should be patient and comfortable dealing with the elderly and their personal care needs. Also, provider should be strong enough to help her out of bed and into a chair, change her (experience with diaper change in bed helpful), help her move with a walker and change clothes, etc. The person should be registered as a caregiver through In-Home Support Services (IHSS) of Monterey County. IHSS current pay rate is $18.74/hour. Monday-Friday 9:30 am-1:30 pm. Approximately 18-20 hours a week.
