Gateway Center is currently hiring Direct Support Professionals in our Intermediate Care Facility. We offer support services for adults with developmental disabilities, our ICF program is home to 15 residents. The Direct Support Professional is responsible for providing high quality assistance and support with all aspects of daily living activities and life skills.
Responsibilities include:
*Charting on client behavior, skill task performance and activities of daily living
*Implement behavior management goals and techniques
*Teach and assist clients on personal care skills
*Attend at least three hours per month of in-service training
Qualifications:
*Valid CA drivers license
*Clear criminal background check
*Ability to understand and document training objectives
*Maintain client confidentiality
*Team oriented
Available Shifts:
We have one temporary full time Overnight shift available: Tuesday-Friday 10pm-8am.
This can transfer into a permanent position for another shift.
Also
*Friday-Monday: 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm
