Animal training & care (cat, horse, dog), and/or ranch property care

Organization works on training animals to communicate to humans, and then makes process teachable to others, publishes studies, and owner presents using social media, and writes about the process and animals. Company needs 2 people with a flexible combination of skills and experience covering the following.

All positions require a person with energy, drive, initiative, and follow through completing tasks.

1. Assist in training, care, cleaning of living quarters; caring for animals will also be when owner is away part of the week.

Required: 2 years w relevant animal work (preferred vet tech, animal rescues, Behavior Tech (RBT super), Special Need aid, etc.

Excellent safety awareness, actions, following protocols, must be trustworthy. Prefer people with experience in cleaning and

grooming cat, dog, or horse.

2. Assist in research data tracking, uploading online, videoing, helping with training and public materials.

Required: education AA or BA, prefer in Psychology, Biology, or animal related (vet tech RBT, BT, ABA), can make training materials.

3. Handling social media, managing youtube.com and other site, and marketing materials.

Required: experience in tracking and organizing social sites material, very good writing English writing skills, and outreach.

4. Caring for maintenance (partial) of ranch property can involve fencing, carpentry, mowing, weed waking, cleaning, painting the 3 acre ranch and living quarters.

One of the positions requires living on the property in studio OR RV pad (your RV). Person will pay rent, then owner pays you which helps with your rent. Rental ads on craigslist for studio or RV pad with yard in Prunedale. Prefer one person in the studio closer to the animals, and one or two people can be in your RV.

Benefits: manager is experienced, demanding, but focuses on growing people, on job training in animal communication, research, career guidance, future opportunity in company as it grows.

Starts as contract or temporary part-time, with good performance can be considered for regular part-time.

Hours: about 5 hours per week at this time (increase when owner on trips), some flexibility in day time work times usually afternoon to dark, but must be reliable. Usually after noon, early eve, or weekend blocks. Since one or both of the workers will live here, the other could live with driving distance.
