Job Title: Lead Gardener
Overview
The Lead Gardener oversees daily horticultural work for high-end residential estates, leading a small crew while maintaining exceptional landscape standards. This role requires strong plant knowledge, hands-on expertise, and effective team leadership.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise small gardening crews on residential estate properties
Schedule, delegate, and prioritize daily tasks
Train staff on proper plant care and safe work practices
Diagnose plant health issues including pests, disease, soil, and irrigation
Maintain premium landscape quality and attention to detail
Work hands-on with tools and equipment
Qualifications
2–5 years of gardening or landscape experience
Experience working on high-end residential estates preferred
Supervisory or lead experience preferred
Strong knowledge of plant care, soils, irrigation, and local ecosystems
Proficient with hand tools and machinery
Physically able to work outdoors in all conditions
Valid driver’s license
Horticulture or related coursework preferred
Bilingual skills highly preferred
