About Us
CBA is a growing shop in Salinas specializing in automotive customization, battery services, and light mechanical work. We are expanding our team and looking for a dependable shop helper with experience in basic vehicle service and suspension component replacement.
Job Responsibilities
Perform basic maintenance services such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
Assist with shop tasks including vehicle prep, tool organization, and cleaning work areas.
Replace suspension components such as shocks, struts, control arms, bushings, and ball joints.
Assist senior technicians with larger automotive repair and customization projects.
Safely lift and handle automotive parts and equipment.
Communicate clearly with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Requirements
Basic automotive knowledge (oil changes, fluids, tools).
Experience with suspension repairs (replacing shocks, struts, or similar components).
Ability to lift 50–80 lbs safely.
Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn new skills.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license required.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a lube tech, shop helper, or entry-level mechanic.
Welding or fabrication experience is a bonus.
