We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for the right candidate in personal injury, probate and estate litigation. As paralegal you will work with Attorneys on personal injury clams, will contests, trust disputes, and other non litigation probate matters. This is an excellent role for someone eager to learn and grow in a specialized area of law.
Compensation:
$25 - 35 / hr
Responsibilities: Handling personal injury and probate litigation cases, including will contests, trust disputes, and estate-related conflicts.
Conduct legal research on personal injury theories of liability, probate law, wills, trusts, and estate planning issues.
Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, petitions, discovery requests and litigation briefs.
Review and analyze documents to help develop and build cases.
Prepare case summaries and trial preparation, including organizing evidence and preparing exhibits.
Keep up-to-date with developments in law to enhance case strategies.
Qualifications:
Studying Paralegal studies, Pre-Law or pursuing Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage tasks efficiently.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while learning from senior attorneys.
Excellent legal research and writing skills.
Interest in developing a long-term career in civil litigation.
