Studio Schicketanz is seeking an enthusiastic, welcoming personality to join our team as a Part-Time Front Desk Administrator and be part of our growing success. Hours per week: 20-30.

Studio Schicketanz is a full-service architectural firm providing a wide range of architecture, planning, and interior design services. Based in Carmel, our firm specializes in customized residential and commercial architecture and interiors. Most of our staff is LEED accredited. We are leaders in environmentally conscious designs and are dedicated to creating sustainable projects that draw upon the strengths of their surroundings.
Minimum Qualifications (any combination of education and/or work experience that demonstrates the following):
High School Diploma or GED
Professional appearance and customer service manners
Ability to speak with people, both in-person and over the phone, in a courteous and professional manner
Attention to detail and an attitude of finishing what you start
Honesty and a good work ethic
Tech savvy or eager to learn new technology
Experience using Microsoft Office
Well organized, good at managing your time and balancing multiple priorities
Desired (but not required) Qualifications:
2+ years experience in a front desk or customer service role
Helpful but not required skills and interests:
Office management, business management, architecture, interior design, furniture, fabrics, photography and photo editing.
Front Desk Receptionist Duties (including but not limited to):
1) Greet studio guests
Maintain the clean and professional appearance of a cutting-edge architecture and design studio.
Greet all Studio guests, alert staff to guests, and assist guests as-needed during their visit.
Provide general customer service and assistance to clients, potential clients, and vendors face-to-face.
2)Answer and direct phone calls
Answer phone in a courteous and professional manner, take messages for staff who are away from their desk.
Provide general customer service and assistance to clients, potential clients, and vendors over the phone.
3) Assist Interior Design Team
Product sample and catalog management
Receive new samples and product catalogs delivered to the office, update the interior design team on new products, and organize sample and catalog storage.
Send samples to project stakeholders; assist interior design team preparing and sending packages with attention to detail and presentation.
4) Assist with development of consistent social media content, including Instagram with attention to detail and presentation.
5) General Office Assistance
Help maintain office conference room
Track and order office inventory / stationary
Coordinate vendors and process their administrative requests appropriately
Assist with tracking, copying, and submitting expense records to the bookkeeper
Assist with preparation of meeting and event materials, print/make copies of necessary documents, and organize materials to be picked up by staff.
Make binder labels
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly pay rate based on experience. Range is $20-$30 per hour. Benefits after 90-day probationary period include health insurance and Simple IRA.
