HR Generalist - Long term temporary

Under the direction of the Chief Finance and Operations Officer, the temporary Human Resources Generalist is responsible for taking on a wide range of HR functions and projects. The ideal candidate is competent in handling different human resources responsibilities and has the professional experience to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. This position is responsible for ensuring that HR policies, procedures, and programs are implemented effectively and in accordance with the goals and objectives. They must ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations and work to improve the overall employee experience. The HR Generalist works closely with hiring managers to attract and retain the highest caliber faculty and staff. They are responsible for coordinating all benefit plans, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, workers’ compensation insurance, and an employee assistance program. The HR Generalist works closely with the AP/Payroll Coordinator to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll on a bi-monthly basis and ensures employee information is accurate and up to date across all HR systems and platforms.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field

3-5 years experience as an HR Generalist

Additional HR trainings or certifications a plus

A commitment to the mission and identity of Santa Catalina School

A desire to participate fully in the Santa Catalina community

Successful completion of a LiveScan criminal background check as required by law
