Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and licensed Loan Officer to originate loans and manage the day-to-day operations of a thriving mortgage office. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proven track record in recruiting, training, and supporting Loan Officers (LOs), and the ability to drive the team toward achieving company goals.
Responsibilities:
Loan Origination:
Consult with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored mortgage solutions.
Process and close loans in compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
Office Management:
Oversee the daily operations of the mortgage office to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Establish and maintain office procedures and systems to streamline processes.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and mentor Loan Officers to build a high-performing team.
Provide ongoing coaching and support to improve individual and team performance.
Conduct regular meetings to communicate goals, updates, and best practices.
Customer Service:
Ensure an exceptional client experience through consistent communication and attention to detail.
Resolve escalated issues to maintain customer satisfaction and trust.
Compliance:
Stay updated on mortgage industry regulations and ensure all team members comply.
Oversee documentation and reporting to meet legal and company standards.
Qualifications:
Active NMLS license and experience in loan origination.
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Knowledge of mortgage lending guidelines, products, and procedures.
Proven ability to manage operations and drive team success.
