We are partnering with a winery in Monterey County that is looking to add a Temporary Wine Lab Tech to the team. Duties of the Temporary Wine Lab Tech:
Perform routine lab analysis on grape and wine samples.
Assist in fermentation monitoring and data collection.
Accurately record and report lab results to the winemaking team.
Accurately record packaging quality control during bottling.
Maintain lab equipment and ensure a clean and organized workspace.
Support the winemaking team with various tasks as needed.
Requirements of the Temporary Wine Lab Tech:
Previous lab experience or a degree in biology, enology, or another scientific field is a strong plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of chemistry and wine-related lab tests.
Strong mathematical skills.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and overtime as needed.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 7:00am-4:00pm; overtime and weekends may be required
Pay:
$25 -$27/hr
