Miller Event Management, an industry leader in special event security is currently hiring. We have security positions available to work at a number of events and venues in Monterey: Weather Tech Raceway Laguna Seca, Monterey County Fair, Monterey Jazz Festival, Sea Otter Classic and much more. This is a part time job, flexible hours, able to work around existing schedules. MEM is committed to recruiting, hiring, training, and promoting qualified applicants within our company.
Qualifications:
Valid State of California-BSIS issued Guard Card, but assistance is available to obtain.
Must have a Valid California Issued Driver's License/ State issued California ID.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a friendly attitude, enjoy people, Customer Service oriented.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must possess a Smart Phone with the ability to access your email.
Must have a clean cut appearance and a professional image.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Must have a reliable way of being contacted.
Must be able to communicate in English (Bi-Lingual a plus).
Must be able to write legibly and concise reports in English.
Miller Event Management has initiated our Refer a Friend Program
When an employee refers a friend or family member for employment the new employee must complete the required mandatory trainings, obtains there Guard Card and works the required 15 shifts. Once these have all been completed the employee who referred them will be added to our Refer a Friend Program and will receive $100 at the end of the year.
You may refer as many people as you like. Please be sure to have them include your full name on the application in the Referred By section.
