Job Title: Security Guard
Location: Cannery Row
Schedule: Fridays and Saturdays, 8:30 PM - 1:30 AM
We are a vibrant and popular restaurant/bar, known for our lively atmosphere, delicious food, and exceptional service. We prioritize the safety and enjoyment of our guests and staff, and we’re looking for a dedicated Security Guard to join our team.
Position Overview:
As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our patrons and employees. Your presence will help deter potential issues and ensure a pleasant experience for everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor the premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and other disruptive behaviors.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Respond promptly to incidents, conflicts, or emergencies, and coordinate with Cannery Row Security if necessary.
Assist guests and staff with any security-related concerns.
Conduct regular patrols of the property to maintain a secure environment.
Maintain entry control and conduct ID checks.
Report incidents to management.
Qualifications:
Military or previous experience in security or law enforcement preferred.
Excellent observational and communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
Must be able to work Friday and Saturday nights.
CA Guard Card is required, but can be obtained after hire for the right candidate.
