Steel Bonnet Brewing Company is seeking a highly-motivated individual to help grow our expanding brewery by securing and managing accounts in Santa Cruz and/or Monterey Counties.
As a Steel Bonnet Sales Representative, you will:
Cultivate relationships with existing accounts.
Identify and open new accounts.
Increase brand presence.
Ensure product quality through frequent key account calls and promotional events
Establish weekly target account lists and sales goals, with the ability to achieve and execute such goals.
Maintain logs and sales reports.
Track and monitor progress with accounts.
Deliver product as needed
Coordinate and execute tap-takeovers to showcase our products effectively.
Represent Steel Bonnet at various festivals and events throughout the year.
Attend team meetings.

The Ideal candidate will possess:
A valid CA driver’s license, registration, insurance and a clean driving record
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Prior sales experience.
A strong knowledge/passion for the craft beer industry, industry experience a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Effective time management and leadership abilities.
Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
Willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule including extended work days, if required and weekends.
Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent relationships with other team members.
Excellent oral, analytical, written and presentation skills.
Strong familiarity with the area/s involved
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and/or maneuver up to 60 pounds.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to work several hours at various beer events.
Compensation
Base rate starting from $18/hour - $25/hour based on experience. Plus commission of 6% of net sales

Steel Bonnet Brewing Company has been serving beer locally in the Santa Cruz Area since 2015. Our brewery and tap room is located in Scotts Valley, CA. where the focus is on serving quality British and America style ales. In the spring of 2024 we were recognized by the community as Business of the Year. In late 2023 a larger production only facility was opened in Salinas, CA, providing us with the ability to brew larger quantities of our popular beers. The successful candidate would be responsible for expanding the sales and promoting the growth of the company.
