JOB DESCRIPTION

The Technician performs basic maintenance operations on customers' vehicles and accurately diagnoses and repairs customers' vehicles. For every service, a multi-point inspection is performed, and any items needing immediate or future attention are documented for the customer. In addition, the Technician will perform safety

inspections for used vehicle reconditioning and pre-delivery inspections on new vehicles.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's degree in Automotive Technology or Trade School Certification and at least four years of shop experience. Manufacture training is a plus. An unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record, a professional set of tools, and the physical dexterity and stamina to get the job done are required. He or she must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have a positive attitude, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world class customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Accurately diagnoses customer concerns

• Properly repairs vehicles

• Performs thorough multi-point inspections

• Records accurate brake and tire measurements

• Maintains a clean work area

• Delivers customers' cars in better condition than when they arrived

• Reports any safety or efficiency concerns to management

• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

At least four years of shop experience

• Must have a professional set of tools necessary for this position

• Manufacture training desired

• Associate's degree in Automotive Technology or Trade School Certification desired

• Valid driver's license

• Available to work Monday through Saturday

• Dedicated to excellence
