Equipment Operator, Excavation
Job Summary:
SEATEC Underground Utilities is a general engineering contractor based in Salinas, California. We are looking for Operators and Operating Foremen to join our construction team. Applicants must be Professional Team Players with some experience in utility excavation and installs. Reliability and Quality workmanship are required and highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely and Efficiently Excavate for Dry Utility Installations
Hand excavation to Identify Existing Utilities with your laborer/spotter
Spreading and Installing Utility Conduits
Backfill and compacting trenches
Clear and Professional communication with your crew and supervisors
Qualifications:
Experience on Backhoes and/or Excavators
Digging around Utilities Safely and Efficiently
Understanding and Identifying USA markings and rules
Understanding and Reading of Survey Stakes Including Off-sets and Cut/Fills
Basic Understanding of reading Plans
Quality Workmanship
Must be Reliable and Punctual
Must be a Team Player
Valid CA driver’s license, clean driving record
