Locally owned and family-operated general contracting firm serving the Monterey Peninsula, is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead our residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent follow-up skills, and demonstrate the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. As a Foreman, you will play a pivotal role in directing project operations and providing exceptional leadership to our dedicated team.

Responsibilities:
Direct and manage project operations in residential areas, including custom homes and remodels.
Interact closely with office staff coordinating and calendaring projects
Demonstrate exceptional leadership skills to guide and motivate our team to perform at their best.
Organize project details and schedules in a fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting tight deadlines.
Read and interpret project plans, cad drawings, blueprints, and construction documents accurately.
Interact professionally with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and team members to ensure productive working relationships.
Oversee construction site management, adhering to all necessary construction-related procedures and safety protocols, including
OSHA requirements.
Project site supervision for Subcontractors.
Make quick and informed decisions to maintain project progress and quality.
Capable of hauling and picking up materials for jobs and dump runs.
Requirements: (Qualified Candidates Only)
Minimum of 5 years of construction and remodel experience, with a focus on residential and commercial projects.
Design and remodel experience
Proficiency in English
Proven experience in managing and fulfilling residential and commercial general construction projects.
Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail and follow-up capabilities.
Proficient in reading and interpreting project plans, studies, cad drawings, and blueprints.
Familiarity with construction site management, safety protocols, and OSHA requirements.
Ability to construct, schedule, and manage job calendars efficiently.
Experience in crew supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in construction software, Excel, Word, and email clients like Outlook.
